Royal Ambulance Named a 2026 Global Top 100 Inspiring Workplace

Royal Ambulance has been named one of the 2026 Global Top 100 Inspiring Places to Work™. Earlier this year, Royal ranked No. 6 in North America, marking its fifth consecutive year on the Top 100.
The global honor reflects the top 100 scores from entries around the world. For us, it recognizes something our team works to build every day: a workplace where the people serving patients on the front line are supported, heard, and given a real path to grow.
Independent judges highlighted Royal’s approach to career development, employee well-being, leadership development, and operational discipline. They called out the Career Bridge Program, structured mentorship, mental health support designed for emergency responders, peer networks grounded in lived experience, and the Team Member Health Score.
“In an industry that has long treated frontline workers as replaceable, Royal has built infrastructure that treats them as future leaders, and has the evidence to back it up.”
Another judge noted that 70% of Royal’s leadership started as EMTs, connecting the people making decisions with the purpose and realities of the work. That leadership pipeline is not accidental. It is part of a culture designed to help team members build meaningful careers in healthcare.
“This submission stood out. It reads less like a list of HR initiatives and more like a deliberately designed culture.”
Awards do not create culture. People do. This recognition belongs to the Royal team members who care for patients, support one another, speak up, mentor future leaders, and keep pushing us to become a better workplace.
We are proud to be recognized globally, and even more proud of the people whose work made the recognition possible.
